Domain “.web” was on Friday sold to an organization named Nu Dot Co for $135 million, making it the world’s most costly non specific top-level domain name. The organization can now offer domain extension with “.web” to different firms. The world’s second and third most costly domains are “.shop” ($41.5 million) and “.app” ($25 million) individually, while “.com” is the most popular and commonly used.
